 ABOUT

This game was a submission for the Student Game Jam, made in less than 48 hours. Our team was well organized, so making this prototype was a really fun experience for all of us.

Since the Jam's theme was "Start with nothing", we decided to create a yound and naive engineer that creates the universe step by step, giving humans something to look up to.

The game was published to the Jam with:

- A constellation building system.

- A tutorial and introduction to the game, complete with dialogue and animations.

- An ending/final boss that increases replay value by looping the game with a High Score.

- An AI that labels constellations from their star coordinates and shapes.

- 6 different space items that modify gameplay mechanics. (3 are unlockable through Destruction Points).

Known issues: AI crashes the game when trying to name constellations if the game is resetting for a loop. This can be avoided by not placing stars in the final frenzy time.

Human dialogue rate is too slow.

They are all fixed for a post-mortem release.
